Hello from Ohashi Cherry Farm in Hokkaido!

It’s been getting warmer day by day 🌞 Yesterday, the temperature in Ashibetsu hit 31°C! Thanks to the heat, our cherries are finally starting to blush 🍒

📸 The photo shows a variety called Wase Suimon, one of the earliest and most popular cherries of the season. It has soft flesh, very little acidity, and a sweet, juicy flavor. Once fully ripe, it’s truly delicious!

This year, the growth is about 10 days later than usual. Although we opened on June 20, we were a bit anxious as the cherries took time to color. But over the past few days, the trees have finally filled with vibrant red fruit ✨

Right now, varieties like Beni Sayaka, June Bride, and Obako Nishiki are ripening one by one. And everyone’s favorite, Sato Nishiki, is almost ready too! 🍒
