About us
This cherry orchard grows over 1,500 trees that are a made up of 30 varieties of cherries. Because it is close to the Asahiyama Zoo in Asahikawa and the Lavender fields in Furano, it is a popular orchard where during the cherry picking season many tourists from abroad come to visit.

Your smiles make us disappear the work's fatigue.
We care cherry trees throughout the year, but there is only about two months in one year to contact with visitors at Farm. If you could send us blogs and photos that were taken at our Farm by emails after your visit, it would be the happiest thing for all our staffs.

  • Hinode・・・from mid-July
Hinode Ripen Hinode is very delicious, and popular black cherries. Drawback is that it is impossible to remove cherry juice after dyed clothes. These black cherries have a lot of anthocyanin which is good for eyesight and eyestrain recovery. Harvest season is from mid-July to late-July.
  • Chakushokukei Sato-Nishiki
Chakushokukei Sato-Nishiki It is same taste as Sato-Nishiki. And it is easy to become more red than Sato-Nishiki. This is harder cherry than Sato-Nishiki. Recommend. Harvest season is almost the same as Sato-Nishiki.
  • Mogami-Nishiki
Mogami-Nishiki Mogami-Nishiki is high sugar content and bigger than Sato-Nishiki. Because Mogami-Nishiki trees are easy to weak, and to die flower buds by the cold of winter, these are not sold any more at seedling shop. In Farms, we planted Mogami-Nishiki trees a lot past, but now we have less number of trees. Ripen season is from mid-July to late-July.
  • Ouko-Nishiki
Ouko-Nishiki Ouko-Nishiki has almost same appearance as Sato-Nishiki. Because it has higher sugar content than Sato-Nishiki, it is popular to visitors. Harvest season is from late-July to early-August.
  • Wase-suimon
wasesuimon Wase-suimon has similar shape to Suimon. But its harvest season and taste is different from Suimon. Wase-suimon is little bit juicy than Suimon. The characteristics of Suimon is its acidity, but Wase-suimon is sweet taste. And Wase-suimon is bigger than Suimon. Harvest season is short.
  • Iwai-Nishiki
iwainishiki Varieties was born in Dalian in China. Its coloring is not very good, but its taste is rich and its size is big. Harvest season from late-July to early-August.
  • Suimon・・・from mid-July
Suimon This variety was born in the city of Otaru in Hokkaido, and also called as Hokkou. Almost all cherry farms which have planted cherries from long time in Hokkaido have Suimon in their farms. Ripen Suimon is very delicious. But when early picked, it has a strong sour taste. It is good to be leaved in the trees until cherries turned purple. Harvest season is from late-July to early-August.
