About us
This cherry orchard grows over 1,500 trees that are a made up of 30 varieties of cherries. Because it is close to the Asahiyama Zoo in Asahikawa and the Lavender fields in Furano, it is a popular orchard where during the cherry picking season many tourists from abroad come to visit.

Our pleasure
It is our pleasure to see the smiles of the visitors from far away to Ohashi Cherry Farm.
If you feel "Delicious!" and enjoy the interaction with our staffs, we will be really happy.
Your smiles make us disappear the work's fatigue.
We care cherry trees throughout the year, but there is only about two months in one year to contact with visitors at Farm. If you could send us blogs and photos that were taken at our Farm by emails after your visit, it would be the happiest thing for all our staffs.
Any comment regarding our Farm will be welcomed. It will be the power we can enjoy our work. We are sorry. Please contact us in English only.

  • Yuda-Giant
Yuda-Giant In our farm, this is the age-old varieties, and has little crushed shape. It tastes the rich, but cannot keep for long. There are some visitors for Yuda-Giant. About five years ago for some reason, the ripen color has changed from original purple to orange.
  • Lenia
Lenia Varieties is also in a foreign country. It has also been imported to Japan. This is large as much as Nanyo. Lenia is considerably larger. The balance of acidity and sweetness is good. It is pleased by visitors who like acidity especially. However, because of its thin rind, Lenia does not keep for long. Lenia cherries are planted in the field of Nanyo.
  • Red Glory ・・・from early-July
Red Glory The left photo is a strong redness, but this is a rare black cherries.
  • Jun-Bright
Jun-Bright This variety is high sugar content and almost no acidity. Its size is medium, and its rind is thick. Varieties to keep for long.
  • Hayo-Kotobuki
Hayo-Kotobuki Hayo-Kotobuki was discovered by chance in a field that grew from seeds planted for Napoleon and Sato-Nishiki. Because it is weak in the cold of winter than Sato-Nishiki, some percentage of flower buds die during the winter. The taste is similar to Sato-Nishiki.
  • Hanagasa-Nishiki
Hanagasa-Nishiki Hanagasa-Nishiki is a good balance of acidity and sweetness, and comparatively large. Although I felt too strong acidity a few years ago, it became to have a stable taste gradually.
  • Hanakoma
Hanakoma Hanakoma is soft and early varieties. Due to rich bearing, we must care it not to bear much fruits. When Hanakoma bears to much fruit, it becomes to have high sugar content due to the lack of nutrition. But to bear much fruit makes cherry trees weak. So for trees we do strong pruning. At this time Hanakoma becomes to have acidity. It is very difficult to grow this up.
