Why is our farm so particular about freshness?
The reason why our farm is so particular about freshness is because we pursue deliciousness and believe that it is best to make our customers enjoy their food as much as possible.
Fruits and vegetables distributed in the market, including cherries, are usually harvested and shipped unripe (hard) in order to preserve the quality of the product during distribution.
Additionally, there is a current situation where products are soaked in preservatives.
For ordinary consumers shopping at supermarkets, this is a truly sad reality.
This is true because fully ripened products last only a few days and cannot be distributed in the market.
Even in today’s Japan, where distribution has developed, the fruits and vegetables lined up in supermarkets in the metropolitan area are products that were harvested how many days ago? There are times when I feel like doubting this.
We believe that freshness is the best taste. Please enjoy the fresh cherries.
Cherries are delicate fruits that are very sensitive to temperature changes.
Even if you send the fruit chilled by cool delivery, if you leave it in a hot place for several hours after it arrives, the fruit will weaken.
Therefore, please note that if you do not store it in the refrigerator immediately, the fruit will become extremely weak.
Not only during shipping, but even if you put it in the refrigerator for a while and then suddenly put it out in a hot place, it will spoil.
If stored in the refrigerator, we recommend that you cover it with plastic wrap.
