What methods are there for “pollination”?

Ashibetsu in Hokkaido is the area with the most cherry blossom trees in Japan, making it easy to grow cherries.
At Ohashi Cherry Orchard, the cherry trees bear fruit every year without any special pollination work.
On the contrary, at our garden, we are very busy with thinning, flower thinning, and fruit thinning to prevent the trees from getting too crowded.
However, just to be sure, we keep pollinating bees called bees in the field.
Although we do not do this at our garden, there are other methods of pollination such as the following.

Attach pollen from another variety using a “hair bataki” etc. and apply it to the flowers of another variety of tree.
Collect pollen from the previous year, store it for a year, increase the amount with an extender, and apply it with a hair flap.
Cut a branch from a compatible variety, put it in a bucket of water, and place it near the tree you want to grow.
