How is it different from American cherry?

I’m sure there are taste preferences, so I can’t make a general statement, but if you compare it to the varieties we have in our garden, Sato Nishiki is superior to American cherry in terms of taste, luster, and color, and has a deeper flavor that is incomparable.
Not only sweetness but also a little sourness blends perfectly to create a deep flavor.

Next, “Nanyo” is a high-quality variety that is called the “king of cherries,” and its cherries are very large and pink in color.
It has a very light taste with little acidity, and even though the grains are very large, it is so delicious that you can eat as many as you want.

Currently, the type of cherry that boasts the highest sugar content than any other type is called Gassan Nishiki.
These cherries, which came from China, cannot be harvested in Yamagata because the climate does not suit them, and they are one of the few varieties in Hokkaido.
Gassan Nishiki is yellow in color, but when it gets really sweet it turns golden yellow, and no other cherry can match its sweetness.
It is very difficult to cultivate and requires more effort than other varieties, and the amount that can be harvested from a single tree is extremely small, making it truly a top-quality variety.

Although cherries are small fruits, they are truly worthy of the name “Queen of Fruits.”
