Are there any trees that the elderly or children can grow?

A: Yes, there is.
At our garden, we make the trees as low as possible so that the elderly and children can have fun picking cherries.
We also have a specially low-pitched “Silver Garden” for the elderly and people with physical disabilities available nearby.
If you wish to enter the kindergarten, please let us know at the time of admission.
In addition, if you would like to go to a regular field, please feel free to let us know as we can also pick you up by car.

*The Silver Garden field has a limited area, so it is only an “all you can eat” field.
If you would like to pick and purchase cherries yourself, please pick them in a “general field”.

You can enjoy cherry picking from your wheelchair. Low branches that are easy for children to pick.

Cherries are very delicate. Although cherry trees are less cold-hardy than apple trees, they prefer cooler climates to hot ones. We care for them carefully throughout the year so they can produce delicious, high-quality fruit.

Cherry picking: Late June to early August. Open 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (last admission 4:00 PM).

Other fruit picking: Mid-August to early October. Open 9:00 AM–4:00 PM (last admission 3:00 PM).
