Features of Ohashi Cherry Farm
Equipped with one of the largest rain shelters in Japan (covering an area larger than Tokyo Dome, at 47,000㎡)
This expansive farm is located about 30 minutes from Furano and 1 hour from Asahiyama Zoo (Asahikawa City). It has 1,300 trees and offers 60 varieties of sweet, fully ripe cherries. Recently, the great taste of our cherries has become a hot topic, attracting more visitors from overseas, as well as increasing numbers of people visiting by rental car or organizing group tours.

At our orchard, we cultivate 60 different types of cherries. As the season progresses, different varieties of cherries ripen in succession. By visiting us multiple times, you can savor the taste of all 60 varieties – a unique experience only available at Ohashi Cherry Farm. Find your favorite variety! No time limit, no reservations required.
For individual visitors of less than 20 people, no reservations are needed. Please enjoy cherry picking to your heart’s content.
Low-tree cultivation.
Thanks to our unique pruning method, the trees are kept short. This makes it easy for even children to pick cherries simply by reaching out.
Silver Orchard
For our elderly guests or those with physical challenges, we’ve prepared a dedicated orchard, the “Silver Orchard,” located near the entrance. This allows everyone to enjoy cherry picking.
Value-Packed Takeaway
You can bring home various cherry varieties you’ve personally picked or purchased at our store. Our cherries are carefully packed in special styrofoam boxes with cooling packs (additional charges apply), ensuring they stay fresh for your journey home, even internationally. They make perfect souvenirs for your family. Enjoy taking them home and sharing the taste of our cherries with your loved ones!

At our farm, we play gentle music for the cherry trees to help them grow robustly and healthily.
Shuttle Service
Our orchard is large, so we provide shuttle service to distant fields.
Friendly Staff in Every Field
There are always 1–2 friendly staff members in each field. They can guide you on cherry varieties and help with how to pick cherries for shipping.

Our cherry-picking season typically runs from late June through early August.
We are open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with last admission at 4:00 PM.
Opening and closing dates change every year depending on fruit growth, harvest volume, and weather conditions, so please check our website for the latest updates before your visit.
Fruit Picking Operating Period and Hours (Excluding Cherries)
Our other fruit-picking season typically runs from mid-August through early October.
We are open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with last admission at 3:00 PM.
The opening period, available fruits, and closure days may change depending on fruit growth, harvest volume, and weather conditions, and we may close or cancel picking on days with limited fruit or in bad weather, so please check our website for the latest updates before your visit.
