Wase Beni Sato-Nishiki

The shape and flavor are close to Sato-Nishiki, but this variety shows vertical stripes on the skin. It becomes truly tasty only after the fruit turns dark, so red fruit picked too early will not taste good. It ripens around the same time as Sato-Nishiki or slightly later.
